When you send out your newsletter, post to Facebook or Tweet, don’t just talk about yourself and your studio, give your clients and potential clients some useful information about their pets. Making it timely is even better.

For example, many parts of the US have been experiencing very high temperatures. This is a great time to pass on important information about how the heat affects pets. Do a web search on the topics below and you are likely to find all sorts of information to pass on to your clients.

During extreme heat we are all susceptible to heat stroke and heat exhaustion. This can be deadly! Remind your readers what signs to look for and how to protect their pets from the heat.

Most people forget about how hot the pavement can be when walking their dogs in the heat. Do an Internet search and find remedies for burned paws.

The last item is one that most people don’t know about. If you client has a dog that loves the water then water intoxication can be a problem. If the dog is playing fetch in the water or swimming, they can ingest so much water that they can suffer from water intoxication. This can be a deadly condition. The electrolytes in the dog’s blood become unbalanced and the dog can die. This is a problem that most people don’t know about so you are providing a service if you can tell you clients about it.

Think of other ways to regularly provide value added information to your clients through whatever social media you choose to use.
